18th September 2023 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F6/F7 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: 17.5 Weather: Cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Massive chop on first run even up to mile out over sandbank to came back in and waited to calm down after High. Gradually got better conditions but weirdly no real swells, guess wind to W. Pleased to sail and gybe OK except knocked by too big chop several times and loads of wood and seaweed about, as a thorny rose bush got tangled round my foil. 5m then 4m was mostly too much power, but nice 15 mins on 4m rest was useful handling big power and seas. |
